Halo Chandelier

A bespoke, hand woven light fitting for very special environments.

The 'Halo' Chandelier is a hand-woven shade made from 32 pieces of sheet material. 16 pieces spiral clockwise, 16 spiral anticlockwise, interweaving to produce a ring of light.

The chandelier uses remote controlled low energy LED lamps. These are dimmable, and their colour temperature can be smoothly adjusted from white to deep yellow, dependent on time of day and mood desired.

The geometric nature of the design allows it to work at a variety of scales, from large scale corporate foyers to more intimate domestic settings.

The shade was originally developed as part of Beep Studio's refurbishment of the National Opera Studio, London. The client needed something special to create a focal point at the heart of the newly refurbished public facing areas, and rather than specify an existing chandelier, Beep Studio designed a unique bespoke pendant for them.
The design is closely related to that of the 'Zone' pendant.
